Village on a Hill, Yellow
Inspired by my travels in Italy several years ago to small villages and country homes, I’m excited to finally interpret and paint these scenes in a style I'm developing. Influenced by the lack of perspective in folk art and combining that inspiration with geometric shapes, color, and texture I feel like I've captured an approach or technique I'm comfortable with.

Influenced by the lack of perspective in folk art and combining that inspiration with geometric shapes, color, and texture I feel like I've captured an approach or technique I'm comfortable with.
Geometric shapes and colors are emerging in many of my paintings and digital artworks as being distinctive to my style. I hope you agree and enjoy it!
